Joyful Noise – A Music and Prairie Family Camp

Spontaneity, music, family and love of nature come together for a whole day in the Flint Hills. Whether you play a cello or kazoo you will feel welcome. The day will feature sessions ranging from introductory to advanced in string, percussion, brass, woodwinds and voice.
A full day of prairie activities for both adults and children include nature walks led by Audubon of Kansas and knowledgeable prairie enthusiasts. Sessions are designed for both parents and children. Horseback riding in the hills and a group performance are special features of the day. The finale of the day is an evening concert by Emporia Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jeremy Starr with guest artist and renowned cellist Eugene Friesen.
$52 per person includes two meals, the day’s events and a t-shirt.
